Kristin has been an avid animal lover since growing up on her grandma’s farm in Maryland where there was no shortage of stray cats and abandoned baby rabbits that needed some TLC. While duty called elsewhere for many years, in 2013 she finally turned her passion into a career as a Veterinary Assistant.

As a Veterinary Assistant, she loves feisty felines and dentistry. She is very much a problem solver and enjoys “puzzles” which is why helping those furry patients who cannot speak means so much to her. She believes in second chances which is why she currently has quite a few special needs cases of her own including a three legged beauty, a one eyed love bug, a petite, almost completely blind gray boy and a serial pooper.

She currently resides with her husband and many feline fur babies in Johnson City. Her property allows her to care for many deer, chipmunks, groundhogs and even an opossum, which brings her a lot of joy. She also loves Halloween and hopes to visit every haunted location in the United States – in an RV ideally! On her days off you will likely find her relaxing with a puzzle in her sunroom while listening to podcasts and watching the wildlife.
